Catholic International Community, Nairobi, was the initiator and continues as the main funder of the feeding program which provides lunches for over school 230 children in Starkid School and Rescue Centre, mainly from Githogoro and Huruma slums near Runda Estate in Nairobi. 2014 is the third year of this program. Watu Kwa Watu has brought CIC to Starkid, and is assisting with planning, formulation of requests and monitoring the progress.
