Watu Kwa Watu has visited St. Phillips School in Mathare Slum to discuss the priority assistance needs and to help in formulation of the proposals/requests for funding for submission to potential sponsors, especially to the ACH (African Children Haven) of Galveston, Texas. Watu Kwa Watu, and its Trustees on private bases, have been collaborating with St. Phillips School, and with its predecessor, Mathare Community Care School, since 2001.
