Emily joins Starkid High school

Posted on May 20, 2018 by tsudra in Assistance to very poor students

After becoming pregnant Emily, full orphan, dropped out of high-school in Western Kenya. Finally she ended up in Nairobi as a house help to an elderly low (but not lowest) income lady, working in exchange for accommodation and food for herself and her little daughter. Lady has contacted Watu Kwa Watu asking us to arrange a sponsorship for Emily to return to the highschool. Ines, a Swiss friend of Starkid, has agreed to pay her schooling costs, including the accommodation in the Rescue Centre, Starkid’s orphanage. Emily has entered Starkid High school in early 2017. A lady, with a partial help from Watu Kwa Watu, has hired a nanny to take care of the baby during the weekdays, while Emily is in school.
