Deworming of children and staff in 3 Nairobi slum schools:

In late February and early March the deworming was conducted by the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program of the AAR Healthcare Kenya Limited, partner of Watu Kwa Watu since 2015. It was accompanied by the hand-washing demonstrations and, where applicable, menstrual health talks for the girls and the issuance of the sanitary towels.

In Overseers Education Center, in the Kangemi slum, 252 students and 15 school staff have benefited.



 

In St. Judah Education Center, in Mathare Valley slum, 65 students and 5 school staff have benefited.



In Starkid School and Rescue Centre, in Githogoro slum, 217 students and and 25 school staff have benefited. No photos were taken during at Starkid.
