Director of African Children Haven, Mr. Ed Sulzberger visits Starkid and expands collaboration

Director of African Children Haven (ACH), of Galveston, Texas, Mr. Ed Sultzberger has visited. the Starkid School and Rescue Center. The visit was used to discuss the priority assistance needs based on the request/proposal prepared with assistance of Watu Kwa Watu. Mr. Sulzberger has also donated to Starkid a new laptop computer.

As a follow-up to that visit ACH has signed an MoU with the Starkid. The ACH Board has also approved the 2015 grant to Starkid, which will primarily be designated for a part of the cost of the construction of new classrooms and support of teachers’ salaries.
