Caroline to open a duka, small convenience kiosk

Posted on March 10, 2016 by tsudra in Assistance to very poor families

Lucy from New York, together with the Watu Kwa Watu trustees, is funding the initial supply of goods, that will enable Caroline, the widow with 3 teenage daughters, to start her little business. Watu trustees, have assisted several years ago in the construction of the kiosk itself, and have provided the similar initial supply of goods at that time. Unfortunately, however, due to the prolonged sickness of the Caroline husband all income was used for the medicines, the shop was not restocked, and the business has collapsed. 10 March 2016
