This feeding program, started in early 2016, with ACH funding and Karuna Trust logistical support, consists of uji (porridge) breakfast every morning for about 160 children. Since January 2017, the lunch, twice a week, has been added. Also the number of children grew to 180. The plates and spoons for lunches have been funded by a group of friends of Watu in Poland, mostly Professors of the University of Warsaw.
