Graduation ceremony

After four years of studies at the USIU (United States International University) in Nairobi, James finished his studies, as Bachelor in International Development, in 2015. His official Graduation Ceremony was in August 2016. The four years of his studies, and one year of the apprenticeship, were funded by a group of Watu Kwa Watu friends in Poland, mostly young musicians, mobilized by a popular Polish vocalist Agnieszka Skrzypek-Czulak, known as Aga Zaryan, and by their families mostly English language teachers in Poland. The main source of funding were several charity concerts performed over the years. Thanks to these studies, James has now a stable position, as a local staff, with an international-assistance NGO, working on rural development in northern Kenya. His work includes frequent additional training within the organization, allowing for further professional development.
