Watu Kwa Watu has been supporting the Otieno family for several years. This very poor family has 5 very severely disabled children, now mostly young adults, who require continuous care. In the past years Polish friends of Watu Kwa Watu have funded running water connection and latrine construction. In 2016 they paid for cementing the floor of the house (it was just soil before) and of the space immediately in front of it. This allows the disabled children, who cannot walk, only can crawl, to move outside the house in the open air. It is also important for hygiene inside the house. The next task, for which we need the funding, is replacing the cracking mud walls of the house with brick or stone.
