Overseers Education Centre’s feeding program in Kangemi slum is expanding.
This feeding program, started in early 2016, with ACH funding and Karuna Trust logistical support, consists of uji (porridge) breakfast every morning for about 160 children. German family continues to support Sebastian at Starkid
Sebastian, name changed to privacy, has been admitted to Starkid several years ago with serious learning and behavioral disabilities caused by early childhood mistreatment in a dysfunctional family. For all practical purposes he is a complete orphan. Starkid is very helpful to him. Frauke and her family in Germany continues supporting him.

Beds for orphanage children instead of funeral flowers, January 2016
A couple of Ethiopian friends of Watu Kwa Watu has donated funds collected at the mother’s funeral for two new triple-decker beds for the Rescue Centre (orphanage) of the Starkid School in Githogoro slum.
