Tables and chairs for St Phillips School instead of flowers for Mother’s funeral
A friend of Watu Kwa Watu in Berlin, Germany, has donated new tables and chairs for St Phillips School in Mathare Slum, in Nairobi, instead of flowers for her Mother’s funeral. Each table has a small plaque in memory of the Mother.
St. Phillips School and Starkid science teachers get training through German School, Nairobi
Two science teachers from each school attended a series of training sessions in German School introducing new experiencial and interactive methods of teaching natural sciences. Schools will also be provided with some basic equipment for simple science experiments.

Starkid has received food donation for its Feeding Program from Hindu Women Association in Nairobi. Beans, maize, rice and other food donated by them are improving the meals served to children of the School and Rescue Centre. This first donation is likely to be repeated in the future.
